Scribble Picnic: Potted Plant

she dug a little hole
and hoped with all her heart
that the little swirly plant
would thrive and be happy in it's new home

~

This week I planted nine plants
and hoped with all my heart.....

also hoped that the deer and ground squirrels will  not eat them!

Thank you Michael for hosting us
with your theme: potted plant

  6. Such a lovely sketch! I love that her swirly hais is same as the swirly plants.
I'm sure both her and your plants will grow up beautifully!

    1. Thank you for noticing the details. I think I smiled when I made the plants and her look like kin with swirls. The final touch.

  7. Oh Tammie,
I really understand the deer eating the tender new shoots - especially hostas. I lost all of mine the first year. Now I have learned some of the plants that they ignore but they still manage to nip off the buds and flowers.
    Great sketch.
    Blessings,
    Janis

  12. We have such a problem with deer here. Hope your plants survive. This one looks like it will be safe. And it's such a lovely scene.
